Look at the right-side image with your left eye, and left-side image with your right eye. Combining those two in your brain makes it seen in 3D stereo. Since you’re viewing the two images with cross-eyed, you may find it a bit tiring.
Once you master this method, you can view any stereo images instantly, regardless the size of the images. This ia a very effective and useful 3D viewing method.
Paired images arranged for the parallel viewing method are seen reversed or concave, if viewed by the cross-eyed method. If this is the case, interchanging the position of the left and right images will solve the problem.
How to practice:
- Look at the right-side image with your left eye, and left-side image with your right eye.
- I know it’s hard… So, place your index finger halfway between the monitor and your eyes, and look at the finger with your both eyes.
- Beyond your index finger, you should see three images. Shift your focus to the central image beyond your finger, with your eyes crossed.
- When your both eyes are focused on the central image, it’ll become sharp and clear all of a sudden, with 3D depth coming to life like a real object.
